Sailing Through Summer with Deliberate Intention

Summer typically becomes a very busy time in our lives as the longer, warmer days urge us to spend more time outside at parties, festivals, picnics and barbecues. When life sails along at such a brisk pace, it’s easy to get totally blown off course!

One of the most important navigational tools we all posses is the power of our focussed intentions. Without setting some intentions, we can drift like a ship without a rudder. But with deliberate intention, we acquire a means to adjust and correct our course as we steer toward an intended goal. Our thoughts and intentions make a major difference in where we end up in the final outcome.

Learning to maintain focus on our intentions and maintain our course while keeping up with a very busy schedule, requires discipline, focus and a vision. Let’s take a moment to examine our lives, to dream, create an image of our intention and then listen to that “small voice” within, moving in directions that are truest to our highest purpose.

Remember, “The Heart speaks in a whisper.”
